Miyabi casa uses the alpaca fleece, ecologically friendly natural fibre to get amazing soft rugs.
Alpaca fibre is a natural hair made of protein, naturally biodegradable, obtained after shearing the alpacas yearly no causing harm to the animals. No alpacas are killed in the process.

TWO IN ONE
Miyabi casa flat woven rugs are produced using a double-woven and double-face technique.
The final result is a double sided rug, with same colors and different designs on each side, so in the end, you get two rugs in one.

CLEANIND, CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1. Regular Vacuuming: Gently vacuum the rug regularly to remove loose dirt and debris. Use a low-suction vacuum or handheld attachment to avoid damaging the fibers.
 
2. Spot Cleaning: Attend to spills promptly by blotting with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as it may spread the stain. For liquid spills, blot and then gently clean with a damp cloth.
 
3. Professional Cleaning: Schedule professional cleaning annually, especially for high-traffic areas. Choose a cleaner experienced in handling natural fibers and, if necessary, inform them about the alpaca composition.
 
4. Rotate Regularly: Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear and exposure to light.
 
5. Avoid Direct Sunlight: Protect the rug from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading and discoloration.
 
6. Use Rug Pads: Place a rug pad underneath to provide additional cushioning and prevent slipping.
 
7. Storage: If storing the rug, ensure it is clean and dry. Roll it with the pile side facing in, and avoid folding to prevent creases.
